Position Overview:
As an IT Business Development and Contract Manager at Genesis 360, you will play a vital role in driving our growth and success within the IT sector. You will identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, manage client relationships, negotiate contracts, and develop strategic plans to expand our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth and increase profitability in the IT sector.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities and partnerships within IT.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners in the IT industry.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to network and promote the company.
Contract Management:
- Negotiate and manage contracts with clients and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
- Monitor contract performance and address any issues or disputes.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop long-term business development plans aligned with company goals and the evolving IT landscape.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the IT sector.
- Assess business risks and develop mitigation strategies specific to IT projects.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development and contract management.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT specialists, to gather necessary information for business development and contract management.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Set clear goals and expectations for team members and provide regular feedback.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage budgets for business development and contract management activities in the IT sector.
- Ensure cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial targets.
- Analyze financial data to support decision-making and strategy development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT business development and contract management.
- Proven track record of successfully securing new business and managing contracts.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
